Conversations What is it with it? I'm sitting here with my iPod touch, hoping to post a reply, and find that my damn password and login name doesn't work - it claims I need to put my credentials in the fields provided BUT I ALREADY HAVE! come on guys, fix the damn thing up! this is pathetic!

Hey, thanks for coming here to complain about the issue rather than reporting it to us with some detail so we could actually fix it! Cheers!

I think he means the mobile version ("put my credentials in but I already have").

I don't think so. A few people are reporting this problem, but for the life of me, I can't explain it or replicate it.

I need someone who is experiencing the problem and actually interested in helping me fix it to email or IM me, if possible.

Yeah, he means the mobile version. Just tried to post a comment at mobile.osnews.com with Safari and it said "Sorry, you must provide a username and password to post to OSNews."

The parent said it already, I put in my details (login name and password) and it complains that I haven't put them in when posting.

Maybe because I have emailed administrators here in the past and received no reply - hence the only alternative was the proverbial 'Goodyear blimp' approach to getting your attention.

I have, along with Thom; neither have I ever gotten a reply. But that isn't the issue at hand; the issue is the mobile site broken - why do you force your end users to mobile.osnews.com - why not allow me to manually put it in if I so want the mobile site?

that's a feature, not a limitation. Mobile devices are auto- served the mobile site. Is that your complaint. That the mobile site forces a login to post?
